Yllera 5.5 Verdejo Frizzante is a white wine made with 100% Verdejo grapes and with the VT Castilla y León Denomination of Origin.

This wine is made by Bodegas Yllera, which was founded in 1970. They are found in numerous wine production areas in Spain, with the town of Rueda standing out above the rest.

Preparation and aging

Yllera 5.5 Verdejo Frizzante is made with 100% Verdejo grapes. The grapes are collected at night and manually.

To extract its aroma, it is cold macerated before being fermented. The grapes undergo gentle pressing and this resulting must is preserved at a low temperature until fermentation.

Fermentation stops when the wine reaches 5.5% alcohol to maintain the acidity and sweetness of the grapes.
