Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey is made using techniques used for small games inspired by those used by Augustus Bulleit for the first time more than 150 years ago. To make this whiskey only ingredients of the highest quality are used. The subtlety and complexity of Bulleit Bourbon comes from its unique blend of rye, corn and barley malt, along with some special types of yeast and filtered Kentucky pure water that provides the foundations of this bourbon's character. On the other hand, the charred American oak barrels provide a smoked body.
Due to its high rye content, Bulleit Bourbon has a bold and spicy character with a finish that is clean and smooth in a very peculiar way.
Recommendation of consumption
The best way to taste a Bulleit Rye is with a Manhattan Rye. This refreshing cocktail is prepared by mixing: 3 cl. of Bulleit Rye, 1.5 cl. of sweet vermouth, 3 drops of angostura bitters. To decorate add a cherry. Serve in a glass.
