Preparation and aging

Dominio del Bendito El Primer Paso 2024 is made with Tinta de Toro from a vineyard between 15 and 40 years old (60%) and the remaining 40% over 45 years old. Traditional winemaking. The yield of the vineyards from which the wine comes is approximately 4,000 kilograms per hectare, and it is also a dryland vineyard managed in an ecological way.

Fermentation takes place for 12-25 days in steel and concrete tanks. The aging takes place for 6 months in French and American oak barrels, and on its own lees for the first months.

Finally, the wine is bottled with low pressure filtration to maintain its aromatic purity. The wine ages in the bottle for a minimum of three months before being released to the market.
