Gramona Imperial Brut

Gramona Imperial is a cava that is made with the Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Chardonnay grape varieties by Bodegas Gramona. It undergoes rhyme aging for more than 60 months (5 years).

Bodegas Gramona has been producing cavas of extraordinary quality since 1945. This one in particular is based on biodynamic agriculture.

Preparation and aging

Gramona Imperial is made with the Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Chardonnay grape varieties .

No chemicals, herbicides or pesticides are applied in the vineyard, so that the result is a natural wine that represents as faithfully as possible the land and the grapes produced on the estate, using the natural resources that the estate offers to optimal preservation of the environment.

They use biodynamics by applying infusions or decoctions to avoid pests in the vineyards. The harvest is carried out manually, once in the winery they pass through the selection table and the passage through the winery is carried out by gravity to manipulate the grapes as little as possible and preserve their quality. It has an aging period of 60 months in rhymes.

The expedition liquor comes from a century-old solera owned by the winery.

Gramona Imperial Tasting Note

• View: Gramona Imperial has a straw yellow color with gold reflections.
• Nose: Aromas of apple and ripe fruits, citrus notes with toasted and nutty touches. Very complex, lactic notes are also perceived in good butter cavas, brioche, which as they open lead to apple pie or marzipan.
• Mouth: Its creamy and tonic touch at the same time along with a prolonged flavor of ripe fruit and bakery. With a broad and refreshing palate, with fine bubbles.

Gramona Imperial is ideal to consume throughout the meal, from the appetizer to the desserts.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 9ºC.
