Magnum La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 2016 is, without a doubt, one of the great wines of the DO, made with Tempranillo and Graciano, it has a great structure, with round, sweet tannins and a complete aftertaste. For big occasions.
In 1890 the Rioja Alta Wine Society was created for the production of high quality wines. In 1996 the new winery was founded in Labastida.
Preparation and aging
Magnum La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 2016 is made with Tempranillo (90%) from vineyards over 40 years old in the areas of Briñas, Labastida and Villalba perfectly complemented with 10% Graciano from our Melchorón I and II estates in Briones and Rodezno . After alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, the wines were placed in 4-year-old American oak barrels, where they remained for four years. During its aging it was racked every six months using the traditional barrel-to-barrel method.
