Magnum Pago de Carraovejas 2023 is, without a doubt, one of the most demanded wines in the country.

Bodegas Pago de Carraovejas was founded in 1988 in Peñafiel (Valladolid), a mythical town in the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. Pago de Carraovejas has 60 hectares of its own vineyard.

Preparation and aging

Magnum Pago de Carraovejas 2023 is a blend of 79% Tinto Fino, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot. The entry of grapes into the tanks is done by gravity, after precise destemming and very light crushing. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks and French oak vats managed under “Haute futaie” with yeasts and bacteria native to the estate, unique and original, respecting the uniqueness of each vintage.

The wine enters the barrel always using gravity. It remains for 12 months in selected extra-fine grain French and American oak barrels.
