Mo Salinas 2021 is the flagship wine of Alicante, due to the awards it receives year after year.

Bodegas Sierra Salinas makes its wines in the Sierra de Salinas, Alicante, taking advantage of the advantages of the area for the cultivation of Monastrell.

Preparation and aging

Mo Salinas 2021 is made with the Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties. Coming from vineyards where the harvest is carried out manually and which pass through a selection table in the winery. The harvest takes place from September to October.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 650 meters, on stony soil poor in organic matter. With limestone subsoil. The vineyards have a production of 2,000 kg/ha in Monastrell and Alicante Bouschet and 4,000 kg/ha in Cabernet Sauvignon.

It undergoes a maceration of 10 days at a temperature of between 26-28ºC. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. And aging for 4 in French oak barrels.
