Magnum Contino Reserva 2021

Magnum Contino Reserva 2021 is a red wine from the DO La Rioja produced by the Contino winery, property of the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España.

Viñedos del Contino was born in La Rioja Alavesa, on the banks of the Ebro River, producing only wines from vineyard plots that they care for and pamper within their own estate.

Preparation and aging

Magnum Contino Reserva 2021 is a blend of Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%), Mazuelo (3%) and Garnacha Tinta (2%) varieties. Grapes that after destemming fermented in 12,000 liter stainless steel tanks. At a temperature of 28-30ºC and after a maceration of 15 to 20 days, they carried out the malolictic fermentation that refines the wine, leaving it at its appropriate acidity.

It is followed by racking into American and French oak barrels where they will remain for two years, aging that is completed with another two years in the bottle, aging in the cellars until it is released to the market.
