Ànima Negra ÀN/2 2023

Ànima Negra ÀN/2 2023 is a red wine made with the local varieties Callet 65%, Mantonegre and Fogoneu 20% and Syrah 15%.

Bodegas Ánima Negra is located in Felanitx (Mallorca) and they produce quality red and white wines under the IGP Vino de la Tierra de Mallorca.

Preparation and aging

Ànima Negra ÀN/2 2023 is made with the Callet, Mantonegre, Fogoneu and Syrah grape varieties. The vineyards from which they come have been planted 50 years ago, the soil has abundant ferric oxide and gravelly subsoil. The climate of the area is Mediterranean.

The grapes are selected manually in 10 kilogram boxes. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 28ºC in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts between 17 and 25 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

The aging lasts 12 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels. Of which 35% are new and the rest with a maximum of three wines.
