It is a blend of red Grenache (85%), Tempranillo (10%) and Syrah (5%). Robert Parker pointed out in The Wine Advocate that Borsao Selección is possibly the wine with the best quality/price ratio in the world.

Preparation and aging

Borsao Tinto Selección 2024 is a blend of 85% Garnacha, 5% Syrah, 10% Tempranillo varieties. Cold maceration for 3-4 days and in total between 10-12 days. Fermentation of each variety separately in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 22 to 24ºC.

Clarification with egg albumin and static stabilization by cold.
