Loess Verdejo 2024 is a young, dry, fresh and very aromatic white wine.
Proyecto Loess was born by Miguel and Ruano, its parents, in 2001, motivated by the passion they have for good wines. The wines from the Loess winery are characterized by being an elegant expression of the Ribera del Duero and Rueda.
Preparation and aging
Loess Verdejo 2024 has been made with Verdejo variety grapes (100%) from a 4 ha vineyard. planted on a terrace above the Duero River in 1998, without irrigation and with a special soil made up of sand, pebbles and clay-limestone soil. The grapes macerate in stainless steel tanks at a temperature below 8ºC. Once pressed, it also ferments in steel.
Once finished, the wine remains on its lees for a while with periodic battonnages to finish rounding off.

- View: Loess Verdejo has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections and a steely edge, very clean and very bright.
- Nose: It has a nose of high intensity, clean and fragrant. It is a very aromatic white wine with expressive white fruit and elegant touches of tropical fruit, citrus memories in the foreground on a pleasant background of white flowers. Varietal character.
- Mouth: Very pleasant entry. Light, intense and unctuous step. Great fruit load. Very good acidity, the kind that encourages the drink. Long finish with good persistence that leaves citrus notes in the retronasal.

Loess Verdejo is ideal to accompany grilled and smoked seafood, lightly seasoned salads, baked white fish, sushi, fish rice and soft starters.
