Magnum Cune Imperial Reserva 2020 is a reserve red wine of high expression and great quality.

The Wine Company of Northern Spain, Bodegas Cune, was born in Haro (La Rioja) in 1879. In this winery , quality red and white wines are made: Cvne, Imperial, Real de Asúa, Monopole and Corona under the Denomination of Origin Qualified Rioja.

Preparation and aging

Magnum Cune Imperial Reserva 2020 has been made mainly from Tempranillo grapes harvested manually from the winery's vineyards in La Rioja Alta. Although the Graciano and Mazuelo varieties are also used.

After fermentation, the wine is kept in the tank, where it macerates until the desired color and structure is obtained. Malolactic fermentation refines the wine, leaving it at its appropriate acidity.

It has remained aging in American and French oak barrels for at least 2 years. Afterwards, it rests in the bottle for at least 1 year before going on the market.
