Magnum Pintia 2019

Magnum Pintia 2019 is the reflection of the subtlety and elegance that Toro's red variety is capable of when it is known well and worked with care and respect.

Pintia was born from the project developed by Vega Sicilia – the most famous winery in Spain – in a DO of great dynamism and potential, Toro.

Preparation and aging

Magnum Pintia 2019 is harvested manually between September 6 and 17. It was a very fast harvest with no breaks to try to preserve the freshness of the wine as much as possible. During fermentation, the extraction was gentler than other years, with few pumping overs, thus enhancing elegance. During aging, we reduced the percentage of new barrels by 5% American oak, giving greater weight to the lighter roasts. Also, we reduced the malolactic content in the barrel by 10%. The objective, to make a Pintia as elegant as possible, taking into account the characteristics of this warm vintage.

Pintia is ideal to accompany sirloins, grilled beef, legume stews and stews.

It is recommended to consume at a temperature of 16ºC.
