Bodegas Mauro were born in Tudela de Duero in 1978 with the clear vocation of producing high-quality wines with a vocation for aging.

Preparation and aging

Mauro Vendimia Selecciónda 2022 is a wine with the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León Designation, made from 100% Tempranillo grapes.

Aging for 33 months in new and used French and American oak barrels.

The harvest was marked by winter drought and scarce water reserves in the vineyard. The adult plants matured better, with controlled yields, located in poor and worked soils. A continental summer, with an end to the cycle of marked thermal contrasts between days and nights, led to a slow maturation of the clusters, which arrived at the winery with little weight and high concentration.
