Así lo catamos

Vista

Pago de Carraovejas 2023 , made with local ink, cabernet sauvignon and merlot, follows the line of the previous ones, it is one of the greats.
Located on the slopes of Peñafiel, Pago de Carraovejas was the first in the Ribera del Duero to use Cabernet up to 25%, to use French oak for its barrels and to use drip irrigation. In 1991 he made his first harvest.
Preparation and aging
Pago de Carraovejas 2023 is a blend of the varieties 92% Tinto Fino, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot. The Pago de Carraovejas grape is selected in the field by the vineyard staff throughout the vegetative cycle of the plant. It is harvested by hand and arrives at the winery in small vibrating stainless steel trailers, which will pamper every movement of the grapes. Destemmed without crushing, in very wide tanks for better extraction of flavors, aromas and color.
Aging for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Clarification with natural egg white.
