Nariz
Pronunciada y muy compleja: fruta negra madura, especias finas, tabaco, cuero y cedro. El tiempo en botella ha fundido todos los elementos — compáralo con el 3º año de la misma casa y entenderás qué aporta la paciencia.
Boca
Seco y aterciopelado, con taninos sedosos totalmente integrados, cuerpo pleno y acidez que sigue fresca. Final muy largo y elegante.

Tomás Postigo 5th year 2021 made with the Tinto Fino variety, accompanied by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, it is only produced when the vintages are exceptional, as this one has been.
It is a fleshy and tasty wine with extraordinary aging potential.
The Tomás Postigo winery opened in Peñafiel in 2008, after the winegrower concluded his time at Pago de Carraovejas. Its objective is to produce wines of the highest quality in Ribera del Duero since 1984.
PREPARATION AND AGEING
Tomás Postigo 5th year 2021 begins with the manual harvest of the different plots. In the winery, all the movement of the grapes is by gravity, without pumps, and the destemmed and whole grapes arrive at the tank, where they ferment with native yeasts.
The aging has been for 12 months in French oak barrels, resulting in 35 different wines depending on the origin of the grape and the type of barrel, this wine being the blend of all of them.

- Nose: Subtle notes of scrubland such as rockrose accompany ripe red and black fruit and some balsamic tone.
