Elaboration

The exclusive 1989 Pittyvaich is the first from the house to have been aged in old bourbon barrels. This decision has provided an exotic and vanilla sweetness to its creamy and fruity aromas. It is considered a Speyside gem, known to all whiskey fans.

Sweet oak penetrates its aroma to give it those notes of delicate peeled fruit and dried flowers that combine with the tender and creamy character of the distillery.

It is a privileged vintage from the distillery - currently closed - which only has 7,056 bottles.

Tasting Note Pittyvaich 30 years

• View : pure and shiny gold.
• Nose : its aroma is delicate and slightly dry. The first impression is fruity, its predominant notes suggest memories of peeled tropical fruits. If we add a little water, we will be able to strengthen all these aromas.
• Body : Intermediate.
• Mouth : naturally, on the palate, it is slightly unctuous and very fine in terms of texture. It has a great presence in the mouth and is also a little dry. Its taste is rich and creamy, sweet and vanilla, and balanced in acidity. It is enjoyed naturally with ease. The ending is short, sweet and fine.
