Viña Alcorta has structured the vineyard into separate plots for the reserve, aging and young. In this case, the aging comes from old vineyards that are more than 25 years old.

Preparation and aging

Alcorta Crianza 2018 is a wine with Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. After a year of aging in barrels (1/3 in French oak and 2/3 in American oak), it rests in the bottle for around 6 months.

Longer macerations are carried out to obtain a more structured wine with a greater balance between fruit and wood. All this allows us to obtain a more fruity, velvety and spicy aging.
