Glorious Crianza 2021

Glorioso Crianza 2021 is a Crianza red wine with a good balance between acidity and maturation.

Bodegas Palacio was one of the pioneer wineries in the Riojan winemaking renaissance that has now been taking place in recent decades.

Preparation and aging

Glorioso Crianza 2021 has been made with Tempranillo grapes (100%). As for the production, destemmed grapes are vatted and subsequently fermented at a controlled temperature to then proceed to malolactic fermentation, clarification and racking.

Glorioso Crianza passes through French oak Borladesa barrels for 12 months. It subsequently remains in the bottle for 10 months.

The Glorioso Crianza line was born in 1928 and is the most widespread brand of Bodegas Palacio. It covers wines made according to the traditional Rioja categories: Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva, although their aging in French oak brings elegance and distinction to the brand.

• View: Glorioso Crianza has a bright and intense cherry red color.
• Nose: Notes of candied fruit and forest berries with details of fine aging such as cinnamon or pipe tobacco.
• Mouth: Wine of great intensity, leaving very sweet sensations in the mouth. Good balance between meatiness and acidity with a finish with hints of caramel and raisins.

Pairing

Glorioso Crianza is ideal to accompany stews, roasts, legumes and cured cheeses.

It is advisable to consume this red wine at a temperature between 14ºC and 16ºC.
