Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is a white wine from New Zealand and a single varietal Sauvignon blanc. A more intense, deeper and complex wine that maintains the identity of the best whites made with this variety.
Today, Lawson's Dry Hills winery has become recognized as one of the best in New Zealand.
Tasting Note:
On the nose we find light touches of lemon zest, stone fruits and floral aromatic notes.
In the mouth, these aromas translate into wonderful flavors, highlighting the stone fruits, with fair acidity but well complemented by the calcareous minerality. The barrel provides subtle characters, giving it greater weight in the mouth.
Preparation and aging
Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is a wine made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Once in the winery, the grapes are gently pressed and the resulting juice is allowed to ferment in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts to improve the aromatic quality of the wine. A small portion (7.5%) is fermented in French oak barrels to add richness and depth.
Each batch is kept separately and only the best are combined to obtain this wine obtained from seven different vineyards so that each one maintains and represents the soil and climate where they have been grown and provides a wide range of aromas and flavors.
