Tierra de Cádiz is a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) that is used to designate table wines produced in the Andalusian region of Cádiz. The area is made up of limestone soils with clays and sands.
The wines of Tierra de Cádiz are wines made with the varieties:
- Red grapes: Syrah, Monastrell, Merlot, Tintilla de Rota, Petit Verdot Cabernet Franc, Garnacha Tinta, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
- White grapes: Garrido, Palomino, Chardonnay, Moscatel, Mantía, Perruno, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc and Pedro Ximénez.
